Reaction Engines, based in Oxfordshire, have come up with designs for a new hypersonic passenger jet which could travel from Europe to Australia in under 5 hours! The A2 Supersonic Jet is capable of speeds up to 4000mph, will transport 300 passengers and looks to be available within the next 25 years. The engine will be using Reaction Engines own liquid hydrogen design.
