The Guitar Rockstar is a head and neck of a guitar with buttons that you press to give you the chords. To strike these chords you strum the invisible infra red beam that is in place of the strings and the sound comes out of the neck. With the audio out jack you can also connect to an amp or a pair of headphones
You have the option to play along with one of the 8 licensed tunes that comes with this gadget or you can go solo and create your own music. To play along with the bundled tunes you just need to strum the string and the correct note will be played. The songs included are from Queen, Eric Clapton, Deep Purple, Franz Ferdinand, The Darkness, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Troggs and Shocking Blue. To play along to your own songs you can connect your MP3 player to the audio in jack.
All you need to get going are 3 AAA batteries and a whole lot of energy.
