Verizon are looking to deploy a 100GB/s (yes, 100 Gigbits per second!) network across America over the next twelve months. Initially pretty much no-one will be able to tap into such ridiculous speeds but it certainly paves the way for future streaming HD television and cheap internet becoming a lot more viable.
