Ever wanted to watch 24 hours of video on your iPod without having to charge it? Well now you can thanks to a US company called PDASmart. The battery, they claim, can play up to 48 hours continuous msic playback and up to 24 hours video. This is pretty amazing considering the standard battery only lasts 2-3 hours with video - just enough for a standard film as long as it isn’t Lord of the Rings.
The kit includes everything needed to replace the battery yourself, although some degree of skill will be required. Currently it only supports the 30Gb 5G iPod and will expand the unit to 60Gb thickness and includes a replacement rear casing.
Available now in the States for $75, hopefully it will make its way to the UK sometime soon.
