Now there’s a new way to avoid traffic queues. All you need is a flying car. Risk taker, Neil Laughton will attempt to travel to Timbuktu for charity and he will be in a car that can take to the air when needed.
The journey will take him through Western Europe, North Africa and Morocco and all this using the world’s first road legal biofuelled flying car.
The car is capable of 0-60mph in under 5 seconds and has a top speed of 100mph. To help the thing get off the ground it has been fitted with a parawing that can be deployed in just a few minutes. If this concept is successful then the £250,000 prototype will be sold to consumers at around £50,000.
However one would imagine that actually using it to avoid traffic will land you in trouble with the police.
