The sale of the new Google Nexus One phone is isn’t very smart at all. They have only topped 135000 sales since their launch January. This is extremity poor compared rivals like the iphone which reached a million sales in the first 74 days. The iphone 3GS hit 1.6 million sales in just seven days of release.
What has Google done wrong and why can’t they beat apple in this battle of technologies. Well for starters it is only available in 3 countries and is only available to buy online from Google’s handset store. Google also handed its employees a phone each prior to launch which must have cost them a pretty penny.
