Gadgets seem to be getting smaller and smaller nowadays. Once upon a time you needed a trolley to carry your mobile phone around with you and if you wanted to listen to music on the go you had to carry around a large CD player that stretched your arms from the weight.
Devices have reduced significantly, and none more so than the newest MP3 player from Sandisk. At 2 inches square and .6 of an inch thick, the Sansa slotRadio comes preloaded with 1000 songs of different genres on a microSD card which can be changed. In future you will be able to purchase similar cards from Sansa with different songs on. All songs are handpicked from Billboards charts. Although with microSD cards of up to 16Gb at the moment, you could well just copy your whole music collection onto one and listen to that instead.
The slotRadio has a small 1.5 inch OLED screen for viewing the details of the song that’s playing and integrated FM radio to listen to your favourite stations. This gadget supports MP3 and WMA files and the battery can give you up to 13 hours of listening time.
There are no menus to scroll through having only controls to select the next or previous song and selling for around £70, will you need more for this price?
