Nokia have recently announced its partnership with the University of Cambridge that they are now developing the ultimate mobile phone - dubbed the Nokia Morph.
Using cutting edge nanotechnology the phone is capable of strectching and bending into different shapes to suit the requirements of its user. For example it could be folded up to be used as a standard mobile phone functionality, spread open to be used as a mini-computer with keyboard and touchpad or wrapped around the wrist to act as the ultimate PDA/watch/fashion item. Some of the technology Nokia is researching is going towards using semi-transparent electronics and self-cleaning, dirt-repelling surfaces.
All sound a bit unbelievable? Nokia have said that this technology will be within reach in the next 7 years, possibly some aspects of the Morph being integrated into higher-end mobile phones even earlier than that.
