When we do see that elusive ball of fire, called the sun, in the summer, I love to relax in the garden with some soothing music playing. The trouble is the only ways of doing this is to either wear headphones that are uncomfortable when lying down or use the external speaker on your music gadget which leaves a lot to be desired. Outdoor speakers for your system would be good, but who wants to run cables in the garden. How about wireless speakers?
The Outdoor Sounds Wireless Speaker with Nightlight looks to be an ideal alternative. This splash proof speaker can be secured anywhere in the garden either with the spike pushed into the earth or hung from the built in hanging eye.
Your MP3 player, computer, iPod, stereo, TV or DVD player can be plugged into the sender unit which then sends the output via the 863 Mhz transmission frequency over a range of up to 80 metres.
For the those less summery days, you could always opt for one of those multi-room music solution, such as Sonos. This is a wireless audio set up that allows you to listen to your favourite tunes anywhere in your home, or you could simply play some relaxing, soothing ambience music.
Sonos doesn’t come cheap though. With a range of packages expect to pay anything from a few hundred pounds to over a thousand on premium set ups.
