Lomega’s have just released a new portable hard drive to match the apple skinny laptop. the eGo Helliem is the perfect partner to the MacBook air Laptop. It stands at just 16mm thick and weighs a mere 220g. It comes complete with an outer anodized aluminium shell which encases 2.5inch hard drive, providing 320GB of space.
It has Lomega’s drop guard technology built in so don’t worry about your lack of hand coordination (well as far as your hard drive in concerned). It is designed to withstand a drop of 1.3m onto carpet (don’t think concrete is included).
It connects via USB and can even be used with a Windows Machine as well, this will be released in October and will cost around £100 of your hard earned cash.
