Formula 1 is as popular as ever and the cars are constantly pushing the boundaries of technology even so there is still room for human error.
At the Singapore Grand Prix yesterday Massi had pulled into the pit lane after the safety car period at the 20th lap, but pulled away to early taking with him the fueling rig. He had also knocked down one of the pit crew who did need medical treatment and then also nearly collided with another car.
The crew had to sprint the length of the pit lane to release the fuel rig but by this time he had already dropped to 18th, but somehow managed to pull it back to 13th.
The moral of the story is that no matter how sophisticated the car the most important part is the driver and thier brain, the most complicated gadget of all.
