Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway, has invented a device that could potentially save a lot of lives. Dubbed the ‘Slingshot’, the machine is powered by cow-manure and is able to purify absolutely any water source into clean drinking water, while generating enough energy to power 70 energy saving light bulbs to boot. Priced in the range of $1000 - $2000 this invention has been made to help people in areas deprived of drinking water with the added benefit of producing electricity to boot.
