Health is on a lot of peoples minds these days so being technology freaks we are always on the look out for some little gadget to help us get fit, whether it is something that actually aids our fitness or just something that gets us through the monotony of that run or bike ride. One of Sony’s latest offerings is something that does the latter.
The W202 is a compact walkman that matches the iPod Shuffle in everything but looks as it departs from the standard MP3 player build to resemble two bluetooth headsets connected by a wire that wraps around your head.
It has 2GB of storage to hold your tracks on. Navigating those songs could be tricky without a display so Sony has a feature called ZAPPIN which plays a familiar part of the song and lets you decide if you want to hear it or skip to the next one. Controls for the W202 are on the earpiece and seeing as you can’t change the headphones you rely on Sony producing a product that gives good sound.
This sporty gadgets handiest feature is the quick charge. After 3 minutes of charging you get 90 minutes of your music and with a full charge the Walkman will last up to 12 hours.
Probably suited best as an additional player, it could be just the thing for the gym.
