Now its Sony’s turn to wow and amaze with their newest unveiling in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress - the XPERIA X1. This monster of a phone sports an incredible 800 x 480 touchscreen display, as well as including a full qwerty keyboard and an insane optical joystick along with all of the usual mobile phone trimmings (3.2MP camera w/Autofocus & flash, Bluetooth, MP3 player and then some). Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 the phone will be the ultimate geek’s companion, unless you are one of those on the Apple fashion bandwagon. But with the recently announced release dates already in question it looks like competitors will have a chance to try and come up with their own iPhone-smasher.
