Tomorrow Sony will be releasing a USB powered turntable for the PC, as mad as it sounds I personally think its a great idea. My friends and I have a hell of a lot and vinyls with unique tracks not available on CD and this is a great way to introduce them to the 21st Century format of MP3. Of course, after converting all your LP’s then there wont be much need to keep it around and i’m sure it would look pretty fugly sitting on top of your computer desk, but its a great gadget non-the-less!
Prices start at £75 but will be sure to come down given time.
